Applachian Trail Community Kick Off Meeting

Appalachian Trail Community™ program is designed to recognize communities that promote and protect the Appalachian Trail (A.T.). Towns along the A.T.’s corridor are considered assets by all that use the A.T., and many of these towns act as good friends and neighbors to the Trail. The program serves to assist communities with sustainable economic development through tourism and outdoor recreation while preserving and protecting the A.T.
The Town is hosting two kick-off meetings to form the Round Hill A.T. Committee. This Committee will work together to submit the application to become a A.T. Community and develop future A.T. programs/projects. There are two meetings to accommodate people’s schedules and vacations. Choose the meeting that works best for your schedule. July 20 at 9 am or July 27 at 6:30 pm at the Town Office at 23 Main Street. If you cannot make it to a meeting and still want to a part of the upcoming A.T. Committee, please contact Melissa Hynes at [email protected] and she can set up a time to meet with you one-on-one.
